Frequently asked questions about reduced VAT (FAQ)
You must have noticed the ongoing debate over the potential reduction of the VAT rate on new flats from 15% to 12%. In Skvrňany, you don't have to wait for the final resolution of the whole situation. We already lowered the rate today, which is why all apartments in the price list are now 3% cheaper.
When and how will the VAT rate on housing change
The government proposal calculates a reduction of the VAT rate on housing from 15% to 12% (by 3 pcb). Currently, it is not certain whether this proposal will be approved, as well as what its form will be. It can be assumed that this will happen at the beginning of 2024 at the earliest.
What is the principle of reduction?
Taking into account the fact that the apartments in Skvrňany are already completed and advance payment schedules cannot be used, the year 2023 will be the date for all payments. As a result, the VAT for these payments would be the original 15%. However, we do not want our clients to be disadvantaged in this regard by buying early, so we have already reduced the prices of the apartments today, regardless of the date of sale.
Will you raise prices if the consolidation package is not approved?
Yes, by its nature it is a time-limited exclusive offer, which would be terminated if the government's proposal is not approved. Therefore, it is not advisable to delay the decision to buy a new apartment in Skvrňany.
